all children, regardless of economic status, should have access to the life changing experience of making music.

band and orchestra instruments which are no longer in use could have a better fate than dust and rust.

Ours is a creative and cooperative board founded on shared passion for music and music education.
BMTL board members are asked to focus their expertise on one of the following working groups: Corporate and Individual Donors, Finance, Marketing and Media, School Applications and Outreach, Social Media and Crowd Sourcing, and Website and Quarterly Newsletter. Additionally, all members work together on the annual instrument drive, fundraising, and instrument presentation.
We ask for a 3-year commitment, meet monthly, and require approximately 10 hours of participation each month. Candidates with minority group, music and/or education affiliations preferred.
